Things to Know

• Garbage is picked up on Mondays. When some Federal holidays fall on Monday, pickup is on Wednesdays.
• Schedule changes are posted on our Facebook page when available, and on the website calendar.
• Household junk such as old appliances, building materials, and yard waste should be neatly placed at the curb.
• Leaves do not need to be bagged during “pickup” season.
• Request pickup from the City, submit this form or call.

If this is your first Halloween in Tara Hills, be prepared. We will have trick-or-treaters coming from far and wide, and they start early! You can expect anywhere from 300 to 700 trick or treaters to come knocking on your door. So stock up on LOTS of treats if you plan to participate. Turn off your porch light (and any other lights in the front of your house) when you run out of treats or if you don’t want to participate.
